We also hold events on site and can host birthday parties, involving the use of the club premises, which includes unlimited rides on our 200 metres of ride on railway. Please see booking page for more details. The C&DMRS Facebook and Twitter pages, have regular updates and photographs of our projects & exhibitions; as well as being used to pass on our latest news and information. Also, keep an eye on our Youtube channel for new videos. All layouts, stock and buildings are subject

Latest Updates - August 2021 Welcome to the brighter side of 2021. During the pandemic and lockdown months we, at the club, have had some success in completing a few of the projects that were ongoing.
Kelmarsh Hall approached us with the view of
borrowing a coal themed layout but as we didn't have one, we decided
to build one for them. This is now nearing completion with the
delivery date to be confirmed. The layout has a representation of
Kelmarsh station on one side and a colliery loading screen on the
other. On the Pacer, we now have a set of steps to
allow members and visitors the chance to view 55831 internally. A
permanent sets of stairs will be built at the rear of the unit in
due course. The Pacer is not available for use at this time. The new signalling on the 5 inch miniature railway has been thoroughly tested with just a few minor tweaks to be completed and has been confirmed as safe to operate. Also on the 5 inch gauge railway subject, work has progressed well with the portable track trailer nearing completion. This will allow us to carry more equipment on the trailer as opposed to filling up the backs of cars. The loco box has been engineered to carry 2 locomotives at a time if needed.
